05 In 1753, the eighteenth year of Qianlong Emperor's reign, he was designated to coordinate the defense against the Junggar tribe in Tibet.

06 While stationed in Yili, he led countless fierce battles in the north and south of Tian Shan.

He pacified the northern and southern feet of Tian Shan, which are now called north region of Xinjiang and the south region of Xinjiang, respectively.

The Qing army finally unified the land in the north and south of Tian Shan measuring about 1.9 million square kilometers and named the region Xinjiang.

After Xinjiang was unified, he led the Western Expeditionary Army to return to Beijing. The Qianlong Emperor received Zhaohui in person and accompanied him back to the city.

07 In 1764, the twenty-ninth year of Qianlong Emperor's reign, he died at the age of fifty-six. He earned a posthumous title of Wenxiang, and he was sacrificed in the Imperial Ancestral Temple.

02 In August of that year, the situation deteriorated after the Amarsanaa tribe rebelled. At this critical and difficult moment, Zhaohui was sent to the Barkol Military Camp as the commander.

09 Zhaohui led a few knights and arrived in Aksu. After summoning troops in Aksu, Uqturpan, and other cities to surrender, he left some soldiers to defend those cities.
