the National Speed Skating Oval participated in the online seminar of the ISU Centers of Excellence. The Netherlands Heerenveen CoE, the USA Salt Lake City CoE, the Canada Calgary CoE, and the Beijing National Speed Skating Oval CoE attended the meeting chaired by the ISU Development Commission and reported their work progress and plans. Chairman Wu Xiaonan introduced the important activities since the opening of the National Speed Skating Oval. He added that the National Speed Skating Oval would actively cooperate with ISU, adhere to the purposes of Centers of Excellence, hold international events, undertake training camps, seminars and various activities, and provide the most professional venue facilities, training environments, and communication platform for high-level athletes, coaches, referees, and industry practitioners. The National Speed Skating Oval will also contribute to the promotion and popularization of skating sports in China, cultivate youth teams, organize amateur leagues, and promote the implementation of the national fitness campaign.

The National Speed Skating Oval actively communicates with ISU, Winter Sports Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Chinese Skating Association (CSA) to promote the implementation of various activities in CoE.
